CLOSING CEREMONIES:
INTRAMURALS 2007
SCRIPT
I. INTRODUCTION: PRIMER
To accomplish great things, you must not only act, but dream; not only plan, but believe.
These past few days, we actively witnessed and participated in a series of competition which tested our probing minds, physical endurance and indomitable spirit. We were not just spectators, we also served as mentors, sources of inspiration and team supporters.
As part of the HCEC team, we all had our share of triumphs, adrenaline rush, disappointments, dashes of anger and frustrations. Today is the denouement of such mixed emotions as we finally recognize the deserving athletes and team players.
II. AWARDING PROPER (prepare music)
Who is the real winner? Is he the one who reaps a medal in the end? One of the famous athletes in the 60’s once said that: Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. So, a real winner is somebody who did his/ her best and has learned something worthwhile from the experience. Therefore, I would like to congratulate everybody for being WINNERS. WE ARE ALL WINNERS!

III. CLOSING REMARKS
Whatever the mind can conceive, the body can achieve. After the grueling but exciting days we had, it is but appropriate to recognize the head of the Intramurals, whom we have proven to have the capacity to make things happen. To render his closing remarks is the over-all chairman of Intramurals 2007, MR. RODRIGO C. BARROGA JR!
