BUGS MST Seminar script

Life is trying things to see if they work.

Welcome to BU Ampitheater

Bicol University Graduate School

This afternoon, our minds will be fortified with supplementary details about some of the most pressing issues in our times: through this seminar aptly entitled:Enhancing Teaching Strategies and Health Consciousness Through Science and Technology.

As we prepare to fortify ourselves intellectually , let us also prime ourselves spiritually through an opening prayer to be led by Rechiel D. Bon. Let’s all rise and remain standing after the prayer for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, with Melanie S. Valerio, conducting.

Our audience today comprise people who are mostly engaged in education or/ and in medical profession. Just what kind of seminar would bring these personalities together? That is the matter to be expounded on by the brilliant bastion of this seminar, Dr. Eriberta B. Nepomuceno, Professor, BUGS.

We now come to the heart of this seminar. May I request _______________________ to introduce our first resource speaker.

In line with the subject at hand (herbal medicine), we have with us some representative of commercial herbal products for their brief product presentations. After which , an open forum will follow with Maria Aileen R. Pesino as the moderator.

Threats to our survival have been omnipresent since the beginning of time and they took various forms… some of them just sneak up on us like the diseases that imperil our existence. It pays to know the enemy…. Forewarned is forearmed. So, let’s call in once again Dr. Cesar Chua, Professor, SL Technology to discuss the diseases of time.

You may now ask some questions about the recent topic: Diseases of time. Ms. Carina B. Orden is our moderator in this session.

Cellphones… an indispensable tool in our modern world. Our unit could not function without our subscribers identity module (SIM) can it? But if it functions, it could provide us ultimate convenience in todays world. But as educators, how can this SIM (Strategic Intervention Materials) provide us help and convenience in our modern way of teaching? May I then request ________________ to introduce our next resource speaker.

The open forum in this section will be mediated by Maria Rosalyn Lasala.

For the closing remarks, may I request Carina B. Orden.
